Voltwagen EPC (Electric Peoples Car) has completed its first fully Electric Volkswagen Beetle. The car of the past becomes the car of the future.  We are now taking orders for our beautifully restored classic electric beetles.  The car in these pictures is available for viewing and test driving.

The three most commonly asked questions are:
How fast does it go? Voltwagens are built to reach freeway speeds of 65 miles per hour.

How long does it take to charge? Voltwagens are equipped with an on board charger that uses 120 volt plug to recharge the batteries, This gives you the ability to recharge at any convenient 120 volt outlet. It takes a maximum of 12 hours to fully recharge the batteries, dependent upon how much the batteries have been discharged. You can also have a 240 volt stationary charger at home that recharges the batteries in half the time that a 120 volt charger takes.

How far will it go on a charge? Voltwagens can achieve a distance of approximately 40 – 100 miles. This mileage is dependent upon battery type, engine size, speed and terrain.
